Calico Critters Invade!

                                   Look what i found on my porch, i wonder what could be inside?

 I felt like i was a little kid again, opening them up and deciding what should go where. I had the time of my life. Now to introduce...

Here is the Caramel cat family with two adopted baby pandas.

Here we have the cat family having breakfast. Papa is having him some toast while big sister is eating custard. Mama is busy cooking some buns. Big brother is getting him some toast, but uh oh! He left the fridge wide open to get milk, just wait until mama turns around!

I just love how they seem to look up at you :) not to mention, they can hold things in their hands! Big boy loves his toast and milk.

      Some time later we see papa taking a cozy nap while mama rests in her rocking char.

Here we have the baby room. Big sis is reading a story while little girl tries to eat her food alone. Undoubtedly going to make a big mess! Little brother is laying down for a nap. If i had batteries, i'd show you guys how the nightlight works (its so cool!) I'll have to do that later. It lights up and rotates.

Lastly, we have the baby jungle gym. Watch out little brother! You dont want to go headfirst, thats a big slide for you :)

Calico Critters aka Sylvanian Families

While looking at prices i found that their main website from uk is so expensive! I went looking and found that the usa version of the toys have a different name, called "Calico Critters". With this info, i found a store about a hour away that has them. But from what it looks like, they put them all on clearance. The good news? They are super cheap!

Introducing, the Caramel Cat Family! I love the markings. The only issue i have with this family is the clothes. One of the children is suppose to be a boy but both are wearing really girlish clothes. The overalls are pink! Ah well, i'm assuming i'll buy some different clothes for him.










And then we have the Baby Panda Twins! Since i wanted a bit of variety, the cat family are adopting them. Aren't they so cute?






While looking for other stores that might carry them near, i found that Toys R Us carries some of them! Thankfully, its only a short drive. Which is amazing considering i thought i'd have to buy them from UK or even Korea.

In other news i've become really interested in Sylvanian. They seem to have a large collection of cute little things that i cant seem to resist. Although expensive, the quality looks so much better then other brands and has so many accessories.

I know, i know, nothing but animal dolls so far. I am also interested in Super Mini Dollfie from Volks and Honey Delf from Luts.

                                                           Both look simply stunning! 

 When i get Snow White (still not sure of a name) i'll be posting pictures and hopefully a stop-motion short. Until next time..
